Arithmetic Engine

Arithmetic Engine: Any device that mimics the transformation of abstracted discrete quantity. When the device is virtual, ethereal, or otherwise non-corporeal, then the term refers to the transformations, themselves.

Arithmetic engines induce ignorance and credulity in neophytes, dedication in devotees, and entropy in times of tension or need.
